3D Design
Volume.
Shadow.
Space.
3D design introduces spatial reasoning into flat interfaces — using perspective, light, shadow, and depth to create environments you feel inside, not just look at. It borrows from cinema, architecture, and sculpture.
01
Shallow depth
Subtle elevation — enough to signal interaction without overwhelming.
02
Medium depth
Card-like surfaces that float clearly above the base layer.
03
Deep volume
Heavy, architectural objects that command the composition.
Perspective
600–1200px
rotateX
3–8deg
rotateY
±5–15deg

Skeuomorphism
Dominant in Apple's iOS from 2007 to 2012, skeuomorphism made touchscreens feel familiar to a generation that grew up with physical objects. It built trust through familiarity.
Though replaced by flat design in the mainstream, skeuomorphism never disappeared — it evolved into neumorphism and returned in product design, gaming UI, and luxury digital experiences.
